Opened in 1991, the Shaanxi History Museum houses over 370,000 artifacts spanning from prehistoric times through the Qing dynasty. Shaanxi Province was the heart of 13 dynasties, making this museum one of China's finest. The collection includes Tang dynasty gold and silver, Zhou bronze vessels, and Han jade.
