History & Background

Reed Flute Cave is a spectacular limestone cave discovered in 1943, though inscriptions inside date back to the Tang dynasty (792 AD). The 240m-long cave features stalactites, stalagmites, and rock formations illuminated by multicolored lighting, creating an otherworldly underground landscape. It was used as an air raid shelter during WWII.
